Discipline & Motivation

In my view, motivation is very important to push through our day-to-day tasks. However, it cannot be our only mode of operation. I believe that due to fluctuations in motive, it is hard to consider motivation a reliable source to carry out our work and life. This is why I think discipline can cover the blind spot of motivation. Whether you are feeling it or not, you must do what you have to do.

A clear line of action is to always have a goal in mind. Also, to acquire a to-do list and follow a schedule if needed. The consistency achieved through discipline is a crucial aspect of success. My everyday mindset is to work regardless of my feelings or general mood. Although I am not always successful in doing so, I do realize my mistakes when I am lacking discipline.
