THE

INCEPTION

CLUB

The inception club at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) was the result of a shared vision among a group of passionate and dedicated students who wanted to enhance their academic experience beyond the confines of the classroom. The club's major vision is to build a bridge between the theoretical and practical aspects of the majors at AUIS, providing students with hands-on experiences that complement and enrich their academic knowledge.

The club's formation was inspired by the recognition that students often face difficulties in applying the theories they learn in their courses to real-life situations. The founders believed that by creating a platform that brings students closer to industry experts, they could provide opportunities for them to witness and experience the application of theoretical concepts in practical contexts. This, they believed, would not only help students gain a deeper understanding of their respective fields but also enhance their employability prospects.

The club's activities are diverse and designed to cater to the interests and needs of students from different majors. Seminars, for instance, provide a forum for experts from various industries to share their experiences and insights with students. These seminars cover a range of topics related to the majors at AUIS, including business, engineering, IT, and social sciences. The seminars are interactive and encourage students to ask questions and engage in discussions with the speakers.

Field trips are another important activity of the club, which provides students with the opportunity to visit various organizations and companies relevant to their majors. These trips allow students to observe how theoretical concepts are applied in practice and to learn about the day-to-day operations of various organizations. Students are also encouraged to network with professionals and explore potential internship opportunities.

Practical training sessions are a key aspect of the club's activities. These sessions are conducted by experts and professionals in different fields and provide students with hands-on experiences that complement their classroom learning. Students who complete these sessions receive certificates, which can be added to their resumes and demonstrate their practical knowledge and skills to potential employers.

In summary, the Inception club at AUIS was driven by a vision to provide students with opportunities to enhance their academic experiences beyond the classroom. The club's activities, which include seminars, field trips, and practical training sessions, are designed to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical aspects of majors at AUIS. With many more events planned for the future, the club is poised to become an integral part of the academic and extracurricular life of AUIS students.
