The role of Lawmakers in Renewable Energy adoption

The current sociopolitical landscape must entertain sustainable solutions that encourage, through incentive, small businesses to participate in adopting renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions. Scientists are doing their part in assessing the issues and developing the technologies. Decision-makers and large companies must partake in the process to further the achievements in this field. Simple-nil campaign promises and low-scale exhibitions are not enough to truly transform the current energy landscape.

Lawmakers get much criticism for failure, but less appreciation for creating 'intelligent' laws. If we are going to criticize them, we must also give them support and appreciate those who establish a structure which makes it harder to recklessly degrade our environment through fossil fuels consumption, gas and oil leaks, activities causing rapid deforestation, etc. Also, policies that assist others in investing in renewable energies and adopting Eco-friendly solutions.
